Mike Craney is the general manager of GCE Designs. An accomplished executive-level marketing professional with over 30 years of experience, Mike has a proven track record in marketing, advertising, creative development, graphics technology, strategic planning, budget management, operational leadership, program implementation, branding development, staff coaching, media planning, research and data analysis.

During his career, Mike has garnered numerous awards and accolades, demonstrating his creative, innovative, enthusiastic and forward-thinking leadership in a team environment, focusing on achieving continuous audience engagement and improved business performance. His innovative approach to managing results-orientated growth has led to national success for companies in the advertising, technology and SAAS platform industries.

In addition to being a faculty member at Pensacola State College, Mike has been heavily involved in our community serving on numerous boards, including: three-time President of the American Advertising Federation Pensacola Chapter, East Hill Christian School Board of Directors, the Pensacola Catholic Advisory Committee, the Escambia County School District – Next Generation Learning Community’s Multimedia Advisory Council, the USO Advisory Committee, Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Krewe of St Patrick and Leadership Pensacola.

As the son of a Marine Corp Aviator, Mike was born in Hawaii but has lived nearly all his life in Pensacola. Mike is a graduate of Auburn University with a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Business Management. He and his wife, Heidi Allen, have four children: three boys—Brandon, Nathan and Jacob—and one daughter, Bridget.
